Letter from Year 3/4 Staff w/c 25th May & 1st June

Date: 23rd May 2020 @ 4:03pm

Hello again everybody,

We hope you are all doing well. We’ve really enjoyed seeing the emails you’ve been sending in with all the work you’ve been doing at home! Your pictures are being sent on to our weekly shout-out, so be sure to keep checking the school website.

Next week (Monday 25th May - Sunday 31st May) is usually our half-term week, so we’d like you to take a break from all of the home learning you’ve been busy with and enjoy relaxing and spending time with your family.

It has recently been Mental Health Awareness Week, so why not do something that makes you feel happy over the break? Miss Haigh plans to do lots of dog walking and horse riding, as well as some baking. Miss Johsnon will be busy cooking for her family and walking her dogs, which are two of her favourite lock down activities. We would love to see any photos of you doing what makes you smile, so don’t forget to email them to us as they make us smile too! We also know it is Eid coming up soon. So for those who are celebrating, a big Eid Mubarak from us all! We hope you have enjoyed Ramadan, we know a lot of you have worked hard to keep fasts while you have been home. Again, we would love to see photos of your Eid celebrations.

We will continue with the Oak National Academy lessons after the half term holiday, so from Monday the 1st of June you can complete the lessons below. We know that some of you will be back in school as part of the key worker group, so rest assured that in school we will be keeping the curriculum aligned with the Oak Academy work so that we are all on the same track.

Remember you can still use TT Rockstars and Spelling Shed and the teachers are keeping a track of your progress from school and home. Please also continue reading to your adults at home – if you need more reading books please contact the school office.

Stay safe and we hope to see you all soon!
