PHSCE Workshop, by Mr Millington

PHSCE Workshop Wednesday 6th April
On Wednesday 6th April from 2-3pm, Mr Millington will be holding a PHSCE Workshop for any parents/carers who want to see the materials that we are using in lessons to teach our subjects. The Workshop will be held in the Main Hall for any parents/carers who wish to attend.

Dear Parents and Carers,
We would like to update you on the staffing situation at Moldgreen. Unfortunately Mrs Szewcyzk is still unwell and therefore her role is being covered by Miss March, Mr Millington and Mrs Hamilton. If you have any queries regarding Special Educatonal Needs, please email Mrs Hamilton.
Mrs Stead in Year 6 will not return to school until after Easter, at the very earliest. We are fortunate that Ms Mitchell has stepped into the class teacher role. Mr Millington is supporting the team to ensure Year 6 outcomes are good. Mr Millington's class will continue to be taught by Ms Barnes.
Thank you for all your continued support. We have been affected by Covid but are working hard to ensure all children get a quality education.

We are very pleased to have been awarded Flagship Status for The Inclusion Quality Mark for the second time.
As a school, we pride ourselves in working with the school community to improve pupils' outcomes and life chances.

We woud like to wish all our families a wonderfl summer holiday. Please stay safe and enjoy the break. Finger crossed we will have some normality back in September. Why not go and explore the beautiful areas of Huddersfield? There are also lots of free events happening in the area
Christmas Play, by Moldgreen Community Primary School

This year our Christmas play was called A Tale of Two Birthdays. It told the story of Kind Casper's birthday party being interrupted by the sight of a new star in the sky - one to signify the birth of a new King, Jesus.
Our boys and girls worked really hard to learn their lines, remember their choreography and the new songs to perform for the school and parents.
