The children in Y6 were challenged to make favelas, similar to those in Brazil. As part of their challenge, they had a set budget, earned money, and had to respond to events that those in favelas experience: floods, loss of power, or even crime.
Team building
Y6 worked as small groups to tackle team-building challenges. Some activities were physical (marble runs or movement games) whereas some were more logical (puzzles and stacking games).
Y6 rap workshop
Y6 were lucky enough to visit Greenhead College to take part in a rap workshop with award winning poet Rob Bradley. Some were even brave enough to perform their own raps!
