  • Adam has found some tadpoles at his local river and he learned about the frog's life cycle. He  will be going back there soon to check if the tadpoles become froglets! He also learned about transport and journeys. Adam enjoyed watching different types of transport and selecting ones he has been on. Adam said that in the future he wants to ride a tractor and go to space in a rocket! Last weekend he watched Spacex's Dragon rocket which was visible in the sky and Adam made his own space rocket. Well done Adam you have been busy.

In School

The children learnt about the country Spain. Together they made a non-chronological report using the iPads to research theyre facts. They learnt some Spanish in the afternoon and wrote some of these phrases down.

For our non-chronological report:

  • Andrew wrote some lovely sentences about the wildlife in Spain
  • Leighton had fun researching about the main football teams in Spain and draw some great Spanish football logos
  • Erin drew a wonderful picture of an Iberian lynx which she found on the internet
  • Kyle did some amazing sentences about famous Spanish people

Everyone worked hard, used their best handwriting and drew some detailed pictures - well done!

  • Helena enjoyed learning the Spanish names for the colours and created a sheet about them.
  • A special mention to Kaiden (year 6) for learning Spanish at home and teaching us some new phrases - we were impressed!
