Letter from Nursery staff w/c 11th May

Date: 7th May 2020 @ 4:07pm

Dear Parents/Carers.

Thank you for your continued support on Tapestry and your feedback on the activities posted. It is nice to see what the children have been doing. Some children are following their own interests at home and completing activities with their families which is lovely to see.

This week we will looking to see if the sunflower seeds have grown and also looking at the book Oliver’s Vegetables and completing some activities linked to the story. We will be doing another letter sound and the workbook will be added onto Tapestry if you have use of a printer. Please do not worry if you are unable to print as you can use whatever you have around the house to practise writing the letter. We will also be doing another shape hunt, where the children can look around their house to find a shape.

If you are able share books with your child everyday as instilling a love of books is key to them learning to read. We will post some more stories on Tapestry so your child can still share a story with us too.

The National Academy

Please access this website if you are able as there are some very useful things on here that your child may find fun and it will help them to learn.
