How are we doing?

As Governors we are passionate about what we do and welcome feedback and suggestions from our parents, pupils and community to guide us.

At the Annual General Meeting  in the first half term of the academic year, Governors commit to a series of training events, school visits and meetings. Governors need to question effectively to ensure that they are supporting the work of the school but also challenging the Headteacher and Leadership Team to ensure that the school is functioning well.

The Governors will continue to question at the termly meetings throughout 2018 -19 .

During our November meeting the Governors shared the Headteacher's report, a document which is published termly. We looked a data which related to standards in the school and discussed interventions to further raise standards.

Parents are invited to access the section, on this website - ' Minutes of Last Governing Body Meeting'  to obtain a full record of the last  meeting.

The Governors continue to maintain close links with the school in the hope that 2018 -19 will be a very successful year for Moldgreen Community Primary School. The Governors  aim to be  ambassadors for the school, working alongside parents and staff to maintain and raise standards whilst ensuring the school is a safe and happy place.
