Additional Needs and Inclusion

Please find our School Offer, showing how we provide for Children with Additional Needs and ensure inclusion.  Please note that we will update regularly.  All children at Moldgreen are treated as individuals.  We work with children and their families from their own, unique starting point and build on their skills to enable them to make a positive contribution to society.

In school, teachers plan for individuals on a daily basis. They look at their starting points and needs and then see how they can be best supported to achieve and exceed end of year expectations.

Each term all staff (teaching and support staff) meet with the Inclusion Manager to discuss all children in the year group. Interventions and provision is discussed. During this meeting staff talk about what the child needs in order to progress further and if we have interventions that support this. This year we have developed a number of new interventions as we realised that what certain groups needed was very bespoke.

We have high expectations for all our learners in school and want the best for every child. Staff will always try and talk to you but sometimes at the start of the day this is not possible and they may ask you to make an appointment.

If you have any concerns your first port of call is your child's class teacher.
